Once again we've found another music spot to help you escape the insane asylum that is now radio and old media. The new spot? Blip.fm. What many call "Twitter for music..." is a global music radar with users world wide. When you enter Blip.fm you will see the "blipping" already in progress. You don't get it? What is a Blip? A Blip is a song in the Blip.fm music matrix. Once you log on you can listen to the blips or you can blip your own songs. Let's say you like Mobb Deep, you would type that in and you would then get a selection on songs from M.O.B.B. then you would blip/play that song. That's it, you're blipping... there's no stopping you now buddy! If you can't figure this one out throw out your computer asap and go back under your rock.

So, how's the variety? Blip is not just for Hip Hoppers looking to escape garbage radio and TV... It offers a wide selection of music including r&b, soul, 80's, new wave, jazz and rock. From Prince to Barry White to Hall & Oates and the Geto Boyz, its on there. You'll find blips you like but on the other side the music industry is still blocking some songs. You may run into a situation where you blip and song and the next day its gone. Don't cry it happens. Overall Blip.fm is worth your time and energy. You will be amazed at the people all over the world that share your same music taste. You might even get some props (thumbs up for a good blip/song) and you can give props away to others too. Although, I don't but you can do what you want to do on Blip.fm its your place!
